with hardware numbers being ajusted. will PS3 sell 35m before the 360 sells 40m?

PS3 is out selling xbox by about 50,000 a week on average, which would not be enough to win the race.

I think 360 can just about make it first, the weekly sales between the 2 aren't that far either, plus 360 has quite a lead.

PS3 this week will be roughly 160k (that is if it sells 25-30k in Japan which it has been doing for a while, but then again, It saw a drop of roughly 30k in America and 20k in Others,correct me if I'm wrong, so it probably won't sell that well.)

360 this week will be roughly 120k

I would say at the current rate, they will hit the mark about the same time.

With the current slump, I'd say the PS3 will fall 70-80k short of the mark, so a couple of weeks behind in other words.
