Ok. I was just saying. It also leads in fields such as lighting, environment reaction, SSAO ( Scale ) volumetric fog, water ( Oh the new dayligth bit with the sun coming off the water, damn ) and pretty much everythng.

well lighting is neat, game is all about light so thats an obvious one, wether its the best lighting we will have to see on release.

the other points you mentioned sure look good especially the fog, but i dont see it having best grafix. what i would give it though its best visuals of this genre of game. but then again we dont know how vast the locations will be. not long left till we find out.



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

no media has said anything about the graphics so far , except that one site gamersyde (no idea who they are) said it was the best 360 had to offer in no way did they say it beat out ps3 exclusives and i can bet when it comes out not one reputable site will say its a graphics king in anyway, btw im not blind and the in game screens have alot of lag its not even locked at 30fps its dipping much lower

LOL. Stop trolling. It's confirmed it's locked at 30FPS. Confirmed no screen tearing in both Gamepsot anf IGN.

I''ll bet you right here and now, that Alan Wake will get best visuals this gen on consoles from those 2 sites.

It's also confirmed that it's sub-hd.

I noticed you put that you own a 360. I highly doubt you do and if you do why do you try your hardest to bash it? Alan Wake does look that good and it does compare you the best of the PS3. If it didn't then we wouldn't even be having this discussion would we?

i do have a 360 flowjo69 gamertag lol,  but im not at all biased about it , i know that the ps3 is an overall more powerful rendering machine plus it has bluray which makes for much larger games , see i know alan wake looks good but i also know that it doesnt look better than even the first uncharted which was in 2007 and uncharted 2 looks leagues better than the first so im trying my hardest not to post about these blatant biased views but its really hard when i know its not the truth .

Yeah gamespot also said that the xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy 13 looked better, so you can be positive that gamespot is spot on when they say this game is the graphics king.

they never said that, they have made it loud and clear that the ps3 version is much better looking , and gamespot never said alanwake is the best looking game this gen not by a long shot

god when will you people learn, yes a better engine will help visually, but it's the power of the console which makes the difrence. like i've said many times the ps3 is more powerful then the 360 that's why exclusives have better graphics. if exclusive games for both consoles used the same engine, the ps3 exclusives would still look better.
