Exclusive games is clearly selling more on X360 than PS3 but lately PS3 had done lot better.

Lost Planet is not exclusive.  I own the PS3 version.

I use my 360 for many things. I tried using the PS3 as a doorstop and it let Squilliam into the room.

Why did you leave out MGS4 and GT5 Prolologue. Both have sold better than resistance 1 & 2.

Halo 3 had the biggest advertising campaign of all time, and broke all time world records before MW2 came out.

Gears of War franchise sells towards the western audience like candy...cause the majority of american owners have a 360 (by about a 9 million lead or so).

Also PS3 is very diverse, from shooters to action adventure to family games.

But the 1 true fact is that a lot of PS3's are not being used for games, just as a blu - ray player.

Ummmmm I know I am new here, but Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Lost Planet, Saints Row, Call of Duty 3, Ghost Recon and Call of Duty 2 are NOT exclusive unless I am mistaken. And I got to agree only CERTAIN exclusives sell well on 360 and they are 90% of the time shooters where as for PS3 they are more diverse. And PS3 exclusives sell GREAT just not EXTRAORDINARY like Gears and Halo which from the person who started this thread seems to be thinking of...just my opinion though...

The 360 currently has more exclusives for the gen and PS3 ones "sucking" is subjective. Therefore, that can't be used when discussing facts.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Gran Turismo cancels out Halo, which just leaves Gears. Gears is the kicker for Microsoft this gen, and that deserves credit. Otherwise, their exclusives sell on par with each other.

In fact, this gen is hardly any different than any other gen where a PlayStation existed. It's never been about blockbuster sales for PlayStation, but the plethora of titles available.

The PS3 will end it's gen in the same scenario. It will just be the first time it's a PlayStation that's not in 1st Place. Contrary to what this gen will lead you to believe, PlayStation & Xbox gamers are quite different (even though similarities do exist).

I remember the night you and I went on a crusade and brutally owned all in a similar thread about this.....I dont have the energy to do it again, but people need to just look at the HISTORY of exclusive sales on the Playstation platform. Then wait for the ACTUAL big exlusives like Halo and Gears (GT5, God of War) to have some life and similar time to sell and then we can all move on.
