Forums - Gaming Discussion - What do you hate most about games?

Aprisaiden said:
1) Long - Long load times...
2) Mandatory installs on consoles -> they should be optional, imo...
3) excessively difficult or time consuming trophies/achievements (FFXIII Treasure Hunter... all SO4's achievements... Bioshock 1 trophies...)
4) Game previews / news about big games waay to early, seriously i don't care that game x is in development if game x won't be out for another 2+ years...

number 3 is a choice kind of thing. You don't have to go for every trophy/achievement.

First off, what's screen tearing? I'm too lazy to look it up.

And secondly, franchises that have a sequel every year and the fact that Infinity Ward never got the message that COD is terrible.

1. Infinity Ward does not want a CoD game every year, Activision does
2. Who is this message going to come from? The reviewers that have given their last few games averages over 90 or the people who have lead to the over 40m sales

Review scores and sales mean nothing these days.

I really don't understand why CoD: MW2 got such high reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's AAA quality, but they release CoD games every freaking year and nothing much changes to be honest.

Why would they change much of anything, when people keep buying it. me included.

Google up Einstein and his theory about 2 things being infinite. I guess you're right then :)

The game doesn't deserve 90% reviews. That's all I'm saying. I could care less on how it sells, I hope they fall on their heads one day. If they keep this up it will happen :)

That you have to play it. They should make something that plays by itself that you can watch and enjoy.

Yeah, Its' called a 'Movie'. Go rent one!

games being released buggy and requiring patches the first week of their release.

The lack of story telling.

I'm sure bw was pulling our leg but thank you sjhillsa. Nyuks.

Multi-player shoudn't be an excuse for a 5 hr SP campaign.

Antiquated auto-save only systems designed to make a game feel longer. I beat those 45 gitts already, let me save after your inane cutscene and before Captain Badass.

Devs trying to prove how tough they are through their games. Team Ninja basically put themselves out of the Ninja business with their last efffort. How many people beat NGII on Master? A lot more saw reviews and didn't buy. There should be 4 difficulty lvls and a dedicated player should be able to beat 3 without losing tooth enamel. I lost my will to slash on Mentor and I was a big fan. Spare me magic rocket launchers! Bloom bla bloom bloom bloom bloom bloom ka-boooommmm.......Game Over.

These aren't this gen. probs. really but thanks for the vent.

Long Campaigns (thats right i said it) 8-10 hours is long enough
