OT-yes,im really dissapointed with mass effect 2 sales,it looks like it ll strugle to surpass even first one.

SOmetimes i just understand 360 owners,such a great game and soo low sales but u have cr*ap like mw and it sell like crazy.

I would kill for mass effect on ps3

READ, first 2 weeks, you obviously don't spend enough time here and don't know which thread I'm talking about. I think GT5 will outsell Reach LTD, just not the first 2 weeks. I'm also old enough to not use ridiculous internet speak.

Bah, that's bull. Mass Effect is a significant improvement on its predecessor, and I don't mean graphically. The core gameplay changed vastly, as did the gameflow and most importantly, the driving sequences that were removed. Critics didn't bring it up much because you made it up.

As for which is the bigger franchise, I'd be willing to bet the Mass Effect franchise is as big as the GoW franchise across all platforms, if not bigger, and it certainly would be bigger, if it was also on the PS3, simply because Mass Effect 2 is an excellent RPG and one of the best games developed this generation, and not simply a rehash franchise reboot with graphics as its selling point.

Holy shit dude.

1. Stop being so obsessed with Mass Effect 2. It's an amazing game, sure, but you're acting like it's the best thing to ever happen to the world.

The 360 may sell a lot of shooters but it also sells far more WRPGs then the ps3. See Oblivion, Dragon age, fallout etc.

The fps genre may be massive on it but its not the only genre that sells really well on the 360.

I think god of war 3 will sell better. Its been a bigger franchise from the start. The first gow sold 4 million copies according to this site whereas mass effect 1 only sold just over 2 million (not including the pc version. Taking the pc into account it shouldn't be too much smaller but I still think God of War overall is bigger even taking the pc into account.

Just a side note, someone said gow has great music, try listening to mass effect. It has some of the best electronic music this side of an aphex twin record.
