Yakuza 3 is such an amazing game so far, it was released in a weird time , as if Sega intentionally wants it to sell bad, but the game is beautiful , its full of stuff to do, and replayability is one of the best in a game since i don't know when, plus with a great story (REALLY great story) + sense of humor in some parts + immesrive world + LOTS AND LOOOOOOOOTTSS of mini games (some of them are too good that they can be released as a game alone) , its to me the real successor to the shenmue series.

any Shenmue fan should do himself a favor and buy it, and anyone who is a shenmue fan but is ignoring this game, i ask why?!?!1

subjective : they're not quite the same, shenmue is more dreamy, mysterious, daily life


objective : one gets top reviews, the other average

Yeah go buy Yakuza 3 now or we won't get the awesome Yakuza 4 in English.

I am a Shenmue fan.

I also own Yakuza 3.

Yakuza 3 is awesome. River City Ransom x Shenmue hybrid. So much fun.

The amount of tiny detail put into the game, and number of "OMG HAH THAT WAS AWESOME" moments make it a worthy purchase even with the cuts. Hopefully enough people buy it that we see Yakuza 4. I REALLY want Yakuza 4.

Yakuza 3 is so much fun. i'm actually playing it more than GoW3 and FF13. seriously

i know i own all of them and finished 1 and 2 100% its amazing how much side missions they put even after you finish the game you feel like playing a completely new game for the side missions

and Nishiki and Yumi FTW! =[

my GoW 3 copy is still sealed. i don't feel like playing it , i'm enjoying this game so much.

Does Yakuza 3 have a section where you're looking for sailors ("You say sailors, but you don't just mean ANY sailors, do you?")? Forklift racing? No? That's why.
