a $150 360 wont be as big as the $199 360 was..
they are already at the best price for its best sales..

While I don't think a 360 slim will light the charts on fire, I do think a slim model + Natal + Halo Reach should solidify 2nd place for Microsoft. Sony sealed their fate of 3rd place when they released their console a year after MS and for $600.

besides I never use those things on my ps3 anyways....So its just a waste |
Just because you don't use it doesn't mean that casual gamers don't care about it...
So, since you never use those things I guess you always have your controller connected to the system via USB? Don't own any blu-ray movies, your PS3 is network hardwired to your router and you don't use a bluetooth headset to chat ingame to anyone...
I bet Microsoft sells alot of Battery packs for the 360 controllers and the wi-fi adapters, as well as headsets, so your comment that casual gamers don't care about these things...
I think most people who have a PS3 use the "extras" that the PS3 come with.. I think you meant to say that you just take for granted the things the PS3 has built in over the 360 :)
Anyhow, you are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine.
Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

Equal value? Not to sound fanboyish, but after $100 for the wifi adapter you are sitting at both consoles being $300 again. And then PS3 still has Bluetooth, Built-in controller battery (for 360 I think it's like $50 for the battery pack? Been awhile since I bought mine) and a Blu-ray player.. |
a play and charge kit can be found for less than 20 bucks, when people see that the wifi adaptor cost money they probaly wont buy it anyway so theres no need to add the 100 dollar wifi adaptor as a variable because using ethernet cable is cheaper and offer greater stability. now if anyone is looking to buy a blu ray player then hands down the ps3 is the best choice i believe.
PS3 is ahead of 360 by 2.5M since september. a 50$ price cut and slim is nothing compared to what Sony did last e3.

By that logic they would drop the price now. I mean they can right?
Sony can too, why do you think there seemingly happy operating on a loss? if it was that, or lose the playstation band, they'd take losses of $200 on every console sold just to keep things alive until they can lower production costs.
I'm sure if 360 mini comes out, Sony will just say we're done with the video gaming business. HA
Will $199 + GT5 + Move bundle from Sony be the end of 360?
