The Japanese branch of Square Enix has revealed the system requirements for the alpha version ofFinal Fantasy XIV Online on the PC. You can view the details below:

Those are quite low requirements if you ask me, but something is wrong there... since I don't think a Radeon 2900 is comparable to a Geforce 8800...

EDIT: Nevermind, they are on par. Still, very low.

I wouldnt be surprised to see these being the reccommended requirements but square releasing a list of minimum system requirements.

Off Topic: These parts honestly are not anything new. 8800 is an old card people shouldnt be complaining. If you dont have a PC that meets those requrements you should upgrade anyways

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

The problem is that if that's the minimum, it will run like shit on that, and will actually require a much stronger computer. If that's recommended, that's fine.
