I encourage the mod team to keep an eye on all those who detracted in Kowen's translation thread. Where the honey is, you'll find the bees. Almost all those I reported are the usual suspects and are plaguing the boards. fyi
xYou missed a couple X1 fans obviously. But instead of banning those that were just as bad as some others that were the decision to lock the thread instead. Really, that thread was flaimbait (as evidence to the amount of bans) to start and should have been locked firstxAgreed. Considering what passes for threads here at times, the responses to that thread were about as shameful as I've seen here. The OP was about as fair and balanced as it could be considering the subject. It's a shame that the responses (beyond the one that answered the question) caused such a wildfire. But sometimes it takes such threads to clean out the trash ... - x
Go home, hatmoza, you're drunk. j/k hey bud :)
xWho's this hatmoza guy? SEVENTH TIME SOMEONE TELLS ME THAT AND YET I DON'T KNOW WHO THE GUY IS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE!xhatmoza was the black sheep of vgchartz. He loved niche japanese games (persona I think :P) and he was a regular on the mafia threads. He was ruthless in that games, no-holds barred and could be quite a loose cannon (lynching/killing people just for fun).xHmm, good point :) He was a self-proclaimed black sheep, but to be honest he kind of lived up to his name. He used to write to badge about some kind of PM photo-exchange of naked self-pics (it had to be a joke but you never know) and, unrelated but equally weird, he had this hilarious signature of a baby climbing up a set of stairs backwards (it was in rewind). Funny dood. He also liked to rarely participate in religious threads thanks to his background, I think he was muslim but I'm not sure.
All funsies, he was an odd guy but part of the colors of this place. Fun to have around.xSo he wasn't a bad guy at all? I've heard people that misses him, then there's other that want to stay as far as possible from him.xhatmoza was very direct and blunt and he didn't take kindly to spammers so some users didn't like his comments. - x

I will miss you bud. - x
You just blew my mind. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=5718944
xHow so? Quite honestly the historicity of certain parts the bible is quite a fascinating topic, often ruined by people being overly defensive about the bible and quoting scripture and faith directly, and by people trying to uncritically trash religion out of strange hateful motives.
Really, the hateful atheist hurts the cause of atheists quite a bit. It's funny I know a lot of people like them, that will see stuff in the op and take it as face value true, simply because they want to be.
Generally they tend to be ex evangelicals or ex strict catholics, who eventually rebelled vs their faith but never really picked up the critical learning skills that were left out of their education.
xAnd that's what I loved about your reply to dsgrue, in that you saw right through his penchant, as did I. I was going to reply that his post was irrelevant, but you did it so much more eloquently.
Also, I have tried to support the historicity of Christ using ex-gospel material in another thread, but I was never able to convince anyone. I think the more you distance yourself from your profession of faith while debating and the more consistent you are with how other pagan historical figures are judged, the better footing you have to support the historicity of Christ. I think that's what you did and it's working.xWell it's sort of easy for me. I grew up essentially in an agnostic environment where my parents specifically refused to tell me whether they believed in god or not.
Religion was a very abstract thing for me until I was old enough to comprehend it myself. - x
