Let me use an example.

9 million people each spend 2 hours playing Halo 3. That means 18 million hours have been spent on Halo 3.

12 million people each spend 1 hour playing GTAIV. This means that 12 million hours have been spent on GTAIV.

18 million hours on Halo 3.

12 million hours on GTAIV.

Does this make Halo 3 more popular? No, it just means Halo 3 has a more hardcore/loyal following. GTAIV is still by far more popular.

the resold copies of a game do not count towards the total sales. This means that 12 million brand new copies of GTAIV have been sold. There is absolutely no way of keeping track of how many hours people have spent in GTAIV, like you said. But trying to use Halo online numbers to say that it is more popular than GTA makes no sense.

Favourite Games: How about Genres? I like good racing games (very few classify as good to me, tho I haven't played them all), FPS's of course (Halo 2, Resistance, CoD1 & 4, Black), TPS (Uncharted), RPG's (Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, FFVII, Suikoden V, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Illusion of Gaia - I'm mostly an old school RPG guy)..that's good for now.

Favourite Music: Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne, then everything else..

Favourite Films: I don't really have a favorite, and theres way too many to mention..so I'll list the last few I've seen.

Mirrors was good, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor was crap, Pineapple Express was good, 3:10 to Yuma (little late to be watching it) was pretty good, Shutter was pretty good..I'm sure Batman was, but my girlfriend didn't let me watch a whole lot of it..heh..what I saw was pretty good though!

Favourite Books: The Watchers - Dean Koontz..best book ever. Give it a try, even if you don't like to read..you'd be surprised. Don't watch the movie though..it's horrible, though I've heard The Watchers 2 is a lot more in line with the book than the first.

Favourite Food: I live in New Orleans..you don't get food anywhere in the world like you get here..that being said, theres way too much to choose from. Emeril's Delmonico is great..if you're willing to spend $30 minimum per dish. Ralph's on the Park has the most amazing Blackened Redfish ever, I highly recommend it..but it's also about $30 a dish.

Hobbies: My girlfriend (she's great), gaming (duh..no, I just come here imagine what it would be like if I DID like video games..), My new truck, going to the movies, paintball (nothing quite like legally shooting people)

About Me: I tend to piss people off a lot..and I really don't mean it. I guess I just have strong opinions..so if you're one of those I piss off, sorry, it was probably taken out of context, and wound up escalating from there. But hey, ya can't please everyone right?
