This is complicated... My answer is no.

Honestly, if someone feels a certain way, I think they should be allowed to express it non violently (Ofcourse he is employed by AE, it's their choice on  what he's allowed to say while still being employed)

And imo, it's better that he says it instead of being a closet homophobe. Because it promotes discussion. If the public doesn't agree with him, they won't watch the show. If the public does, it shows other issues that society itself needs to address. Banning people for saying things they believe in doesn't make them stop believing it.

There's plenty of racists who are racist but cover it up with by acting fake or polite. When they think something else.
