Not quite a prediction league, but I was thinking: Exactly which games will end up being 1m sellers (w/w) this year?

IMO, I submit the following, some have released already though:

Lost Planet: 1.5m

Crackdown: 1.5m

GRAW2: 1.1m

GH2: 1.7m

Forza Motorsports 2: 1.9m

Two Worlds: 1.0m (barely)

Blue Dragon: 1.5m (no US/PAL release yet)

Trusty Bell: 1.1m

NCAA 2008 Football: 1.1m

BioShock: 1.0m (barely)

Madden 2008: 2.2m

Mass Effect: 2.7m

Halo 3: 11.2m (lifetime)

GTAIV: 9.9m (lifetime)

Army of Two: 1.0m

Assassains Creed: 1.5m

Lost Odyssey: 2.1m

What am I missing from a list of other possible 1m+ sellers this year? Any sugguestions or comments?

I think you're really underestimating Assassin's Creed there, that's gonna be a huge 3rd party game on both PS3 and 360, also I think you're overestimating the success of Two Worlds.

Also you forgot the following that are good candidates for selling 1m+: Unreal Tournament, Devil May Cry 4 and maybe Stranglehold.

I think Devil May Cry 4 was delayed. Assassin's Creed was also delayed, but still coming out this year in November. Unreal Tournament has potential, not sure about Stranglehold though.

I think Unreal Tournament is going to be a massive success on the 360 because it's a huge FPS multiplayer game from the makers of Gears of War, only Halo will do better this year as far as FPS games go on the 360...

When does Unreal Tournament launch? That could potentially be huge, just thinking about it, especially if they aim to get better graphics than Gears of War.

Off-topic: How is ICO, ckmlb? I haven't cracked open my copy yet.

I haven't either, I have it right here and I'm going to start playing it but I'm addicted to Planet Puzzle League lol

There's no official Unreal date but it's supposed to be in time before the holidays and such, I bet November ish. 

Though I would like BD and ES to sell as much as you think, I seriosuly don´t think it will happen. I can´t even see them passing the 1 million mark. I can´t see most of 360´s fanbase going nuts for those type of games. Let´s hope I´m wrong.
Assasins Creed numbers are ok, I mean, the game is multiplatform, and it certainly doesn´t look like a casual game.

 You know there are currently only about .4 million 360's in Japan right?  I don't think that number is going to jump to 1.5m buy 2008 and all of those buy this game.

Stickball means that it will sell 1.5m once it's released in US and PAL.

Ah, that makes a bit more sense then.  :-p
