Oh I guess all animes are just silly cartoons then.

Some are, sure. Some.

and some are not. Just because TLOU looks real, doesnt mean it have to abide by reality 100%. If that turns you off the game, then it cant be many games you enjoy. At least not the more realistic looking ones.

Sure, but theres still zombies and you can take many bullets to the face and be fine. Its just video game logic. Like small characters can be strong and take down multiple bad guys twice their size..

Must be hard for you to play any game then. I mean a little chubby plumber winning against a big fire breathing koopa. Ridiculous, right?

Mario isn't going for realism. I can belive Ellie taking down a man once, maybe twice... hell three times but continually not being grabbed and crushed or knocked out with a stray slap, it just doesn't work unless it's full on clean stealth or gunplay with no physicality inbetween. I can't wait to see Ellie jump on the back of the 15th man in a row and take him down, it'll be laughable after the third but by then it'll be painfully cringey.

Anyway, beyond that, the themes is nonsense compared to TloU and what made it great. Revenge stories are a dime a dozen and nothing stands out here besides for the reputation of the first game and the studio. Looks bland besides for it's visual beauty.

So only men should be the protagonists in these kinda games? or do you want the game to be over after you take down 2 guys and the third one kills you? or do you want a different game? Not really sure what you want here.

We also don't know if its just a simple revenge story yet.

So reading from this thread... The state of play is currently underwhelming? One could even argue it's in a bad state of existence?

wattam was cute af, hadn't even heard of it until this now i'm def keeping an eye on it

First impression was "okay this is just TLoU2 show".... and a deathstranding limited ed. PS4 console.
kinda underwhelming.

After watching Inside Xbox.... your perspective change though, because that was actually worse than this State of Play.
Time for Nintendo to come out with a good Direct, and show them both how its done.

PS4 version will probably be 1080p or 1800p checkerborded.
PS5 will probably be 2160p (4k) with other minor enhancements (shadows&lighting, textures, ect ect)

The good part of this show was that now people can stop saying TLOU2 will release only in PS5 or even be true crossgen (release together). Now only ghost of tsushijima left to show it is for PS4 (DS already close to release).

And for me I haven't see the point of Wattam, wouldn't pay a single dollar for it.
