I'm glad that many are disappointed by episode 3. Anti-climactic is really the word the best describes this episode. 7 seasons of build up for it to end on a whimper. Oh, the real story is who ends up on the Iron Throne because the books is called Game of Thrones, right? The White Walker threat was supposed to show that the Iron Throne issue didn't matter and that the most important was life. But I guess not. The throne is all that matters, apparently. Ugh. I'll watch it until the end, but it's just such a shame.

The episode when seen in itself was good; production value was huge, amazing CGI, setpieces, acting, everything top notch. Though there is a mixed feeling, that many already mentioned. The Night King and the army of the dead being killed off this easy after over seven seasons of build up is disappointing. There was all this fear and dread for years. The show was even introduced with this threat, and characters make a point of the fight for the throne being pointless compared to this. And then it ends so easily. The other thing is I expected more to die after such an emotional second episode. I do wonder though, there’s three long episodes left, surely they won’t all deal with squabbling against Cersei...

Wrong.

How do you spot main characters in a medieval setting?

Easy: the ones not wearing helmets. You know, the most important piece of armor there is.

Bonus points if you are fighting with your non-dominant hand on the frontlines. You're 100% survivor material, then.

People online are actually calling Arya a Mary Sue, hahhaha. Clearly havn't read the books and not realizing that, that was not the point of last night where the issue was. She couldn't be further from a Mary Sue but damn it, I can't remember if the show showed her struggle or not. I can see this now turning into the typical, toxic fan base against female empowered bullshit sheild against criticism. Fuck.

Is this a real thing? My wife likes the premise of the show but hates nudity and excessive swearing so refuses to watch it with me.

Nudity continues to melt down American eyes I see. Was that the secret used by the Viet Cong? Someone should tell the Iranians, but then, they literally blur woman's faces in television because that's too much for them already.

Edit - not meaning to derail the thread but you and Dulfite sound as out of place to most people here as some Iranian asking if VidAngel can censor female faces.

way to attack people who don't agree with your point of view

Dude you hit the nail right on the head. The show got rid of the political BS and finally bought forward the real threat. It was just about survival. The living and the dead. All of humanity bands together to fight the menace and then...it all ends. Just like that. Now they're going to go back to mindlessly kill each other for some bullshit throne. It's disappointing as hell.
