what numbers you talking about?

Nintendo is starting to dominate retail sales in Europe. And even though they don't disclose their digital sales numbers, they're starting to dominate the combined numbers, too.

Thats not really telling us anything, slow week for sales, and nintendo games are the only titles really selling on switch. plus last week was all sony games, cause of the days of play sale. the only thing we have concrete is nintendo graph of europe sales, and they weren't anything special.

Yeah, because nobody is buying games during the steam sale, right?

Seriously, did you even bother to read? Or check the movements in those charts? Or even just looked at the charts? Doesn't look like it, really, otherwise you wouldn't have done that reply.

That sales graph you mentioned is half a year old, get over it already! It's clear by now that it's not just outdated, you're still using it to confirm your false positive.

My sig explains that pretty easily. A poor E3 showing, and a poor 1st party lineup does a lot of damage.

It's been declining well before E3, so I wouldn't even consider that a factor honestly.

"Physical data includes all games, but only those sold in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland."

So there's no Germany and there's no UK. That's like two of the biggest markets in Europe, is it not?

I have no idea what you're talking about? last week the chart was dominated by playstation, you are putting way to much baseless speculation in a 1 week chart. I rather stick with the facts, like the graph nintendo showed switch doing much worse then NA, and the fact that NA is still out shipping europe along with the ROTW combined tell me enough.

You want to sit here and tell ps4 is slowing down at least wait for some real info.

The link is also reflective of the start of Q2 (after June 30th) so first quarter shipments are not even part of it.

Stocks being talked about by people who don't understand markets.

Earnings are king and Nintendo is fine. Move along people.

Nintendo started to really slide (two -5% days in the span of 10 days) late May as it was becoming evident that sales for Q1 will be challenging (due to lack of a new game catalyst, Labo flop, 3DS contributing less to revenue). Either Nintendo conveyed that to some analysts/shareholders or they came to that conclusion due to channel checks they do.

People keep throwing out Smash and Pokemon, to me, those games were already priced into the stock, hence its high valuation. Its all about execution at this point. If there is any whiff of type of miscue then people will sell and ask questions later.

Oh I would love to see Nintendo's board of directors say this to its shareholders.
