I'm also waiting on confirmation for games like puyo puyo and minecraft hitting 1 mil this holiday. Last we heard they were both over 850k

So even though the Famitsu numbers are estimations, considering it passes the million by far plus the reasonable estimation of Smash selling more than Japan in the West, puts the new Smash Brother at well above the million, so it gets added to the list.

Next one has to be Minecraft, it will reach the million retail soon, and it probably passed it digitally a long time ago. But we still need confirmation.

What You think about Civilization VI ? In my country every shop have out of stock status, in eshop is in top 20. Can this game sell in a 1 mln copies lifetime ?

5 for now seems like safe bet, Zelda BotW, MK8D, Odyssey, Pokemon Lets Go and Smash Bros.

It's going to take a while for this game to gain enough momentum to reach the million. This seems like a title with a rather modest retail release, so I can see it selling out while not moving that many units.

By the way, does anyone know if Puyo Puyo Tetris reached the million? I guess that has passed it already with retail and digital combined, but has Sega confirmed it?

Okay, so according to VGChartz, Minecraft on the Switch has sold 1m, so it can finally get added to the list. To be fair, counting digital it probably reached the million months ago, but there was no official announcement, so I didn't add it until now.
