I only preorder games I want the CE for because local stores don't really stock the CE unless it's a preorder.

The short answer is yes. To elaborate, I preorder and pay off most of the game, if not all of it, in advance so I don't have to worry about it. It also ensures that I get the game right on schedule, since the store gives you a call.

And this week I'll put one down for Heavy Rain. So, I dont really pre order anything often.

In general no. If it's a game I'm really excited about and there's a midnight launch I will, otherwise, probably not.

Sometimes I'll also preorder them on Amazon but that's mainly because it gets delivered first day, not because I'm worried about not being able to find it.
