I called my Gamestop and sure enough, they get it tomorrow. I went ahead and bought it a few weeks ago, I knew the reviews werent going to sway my decision. Same for Battlefield 2 and FF XIII

Right, called my local game shop and it's not getting any WKC until the 3rd. So much for a release date.

yeah it wasn't out in my local gamestop either. not even wal-mart. however, knowing people in the trade pays off... its out tomrrow fer sure though.

well I think the date they give at gamestops are shipping dates(or something like that) if it says SD(street date) that means they got it in advance and will release it on the date given(like Mass Effect or any other big game)

Well seeing as you're from Canada, they usually get their games it a few days after the NA release date.  So usually a game dated for a tuesday according to websites, means itll come Thursday.  The only exception is if the game is really big, and/or guarenteed a specific date to be in store in your Futureshop/Bestbuy flyers etc.

I don't trust reviews from professional critics that much anymore. I will read to see what there opinion is. But I think that they are seriously underscoring JRPGs now. Lost Odyssey is not a 79. and Star Ocean TLH is better than they made it out to be.

Only way to see if you will like the game is to play it yourself! :)
