Lol I complained to the manager and the people who did that were fired. Because it wasn't like "Oh would you like to get this" it was "Dude man PS3 sucks, you should get it for 360 instead"

They tried to sell me a new game in a generic gamestop case with no instruction manual saying "yea it's new".

I havent had any problem yet from gamestop. Though when I was buying my PS2, they were checking the 50 I paid it with (it was dated 1988) they accepted it without hesitation I bought there because the jackasses at best buy didnt accept the bill (it didnt have the security line in it).

Though irrelevant to this thread, I had a really bad inccident at game crazy once. After coming home from, I opened up my WiiSports resort, and saw it had no wii motion+.Took it back but they didint believe; im no thief!. So they gave me a new one. After that I swore never to shop there.

I've never had any problems with Gamestop..... Because I never buy stuff there!

Amazon is cheaper.

They just opened a new Gamestop near us, and its mostly Nintendo Fans. I've never had a bad experience with the new place, and I've never been pressured into buying something I don't want

Lol my experience
1.I bought 2 used games and they gave me the magazine for game informer and the edge card!
2.My friend bought rainbow six vegas 1 opened it up when we got to the car and it was rainbow six vegas 2
3.I LOVE IT when they make those mistakes :]

You occasionally get a nice person there. I just wish they were better with there pre-order deals and would just sell me a "new" game in factory sealed shrink wrap, and not a used-display case with a potentially scratched disk.

My mom got my Chrono Trigger a few weeks back. It was new for like 25.99 or something. Came in a used display case with a new sticker on it. So I put it back in the bag, went back and told them to give me my money back because I didn't get what we payed for. and then I went to eBay and got a new one with a free poster for only 19.99!
