That still doesn't explain why they based their decision solely on the fans reaction over at JP. And still doesn't explain the plotholes and inconsistencies in the content of FFX.

As I said, it may not have been based solely on cut content of FFX, but to consider entirely that FFX was a complete game with no cut content and that FFX-2 wasn't based on any cut content of FFX is a bit naive. Squaresoft always cuts content out of their games, mainly because they put many more ideas that they can implement.

The conspiracy theory that Square Enix went back and cut content and completely reworked the game after they decided on a 360 version is laughable. The game was pretty much complete by the time they started porting it.

The decision to cut content is far more likely either to do with either making it DLC, time constraints, or it was a creative decision.

I just severely doubt that FFX-2 was built out of cut content. At least not primarily. To me it felt like an entirely new story, one thought up as an afterthought, at that.

Then explain me why there are so many plotholes in the original game. Why did Via Infinito, that the game already said to be a vast underground dungeon got cut out of FFX. Why did the main character, Tidus, who was explained not to be a real person, never got a proper backstory of who he really was in FFX, but it was the primary focus of FFX-2. Would it made a whole lot more sense that the Fayth in mount Gagazat explained who he was and be done with it?

There are many inconsistencies in FFX to not consider FFX-2 using part of a cut content from FFX.

*SPOILERS*

I think it was enough to just point out how Tidus wasn't really anybody in FFX. He was just a dream. I mean, how would it have helped to say "Tidus was just a dream. Based on this other guy, btw, look, here he is.". In FFX-2 the stuff with Shuyin and all that just felt like it was added in as an afterthought. Did I dislike it? Not necessarily, but it sure didn't feel like it had been planned from the very beginning.

He wasn't just a dream, there lies the problem.

If he had been just a dream, no real representation of someone in Zanarkand, then why did Jecht, who was a real Zanarkand person recognized him as his son/representation of his son? If he had been no one in Zanarkand, Jecht wouldn't had any reason to recognize him.

Shuyin being an afterthought makes really no sense, they had to explain how Tidus managed to fit in 1000 year old Zanarkand, which they totally left out of FFX. Vegnagun on the other hand, now that's an afterthought, as there is no real reference to it on FFX, nor to any of the main players in both the Youth League and New Yevon. The trio of Paine, Nooj and Baramel were also complete afterthoughts.

But I can also find other correlations between incomplete parts of FFX and content in FFX-2, but those two that I pointd out to you, are the most obvious ones.

I only played FFX-2 once and didn't even complete it (though I read up on the story later) so I have a very, very limited scope of knowledge relating to it so I might as well concede this right away. You clearly have a way better grasp on the sequel than I do anyway.

Oh, sorry I didn't knew that :( I wouldn't have said so many spoiler to you if that was the case >_

Guys,

Idk how I'm going to be able to swap 2 times.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

I'll guide you through the process.  First, when the game prompts you to change discs, stand up.  Then walk to the XBox360, eject the disc, insert the next disc, close the disc drive, then walk back to the couch and sit down.  The instructions will be the same for the second time you have to change discs.
