Meh. People have opinions. With free will and all. But alas, that's why we have idiots in the world. I believe the real problem is the jealousy people have due to the popularity and critical acclaim. It happens every time something becomes popular. People feel like they need to bash it to protect their favorite games. It happens with every goty winner and every popular game that outsells other people's favorite game just like it happens when one console sells better then another.

When a game becomes very popular it's going to get a lot of haters, just look at Halo for evidence. That being said everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know that personally I prefer games that allow you to take part in the action and choose how you want to approach each battle versus linear games with a lot of set pieces and cut scenes. However just because that is my preference of games doesn't take away from games that are linear and use set pieces extensively.

Any person can tell that Uncharted 2 is an amazing, polished game that comes together for a great gaming experience. I would go so far as to say it is the Avatar of gaming.

I like reading critical pieces about a game I have high expectations for once I get around to buying it. It keeps me grounded so that once I do play it I will still be impressed.

Like I like reading negative reviews of movies I really want to see (or that I really liked).
