When a game becomes very popular it's going to get a lot of haters, just look at Halo for evidence. That being said everyone is entitled to their opinion. I know that personally I prefer games that allow you to take part in the action and choose how you want to approach each battle versus linear games with a lot of set pieces and cut scenes. However just because that is my preference of games doesn't take away from games that are linear and use set pieces extensively.
Any person can tell that Uncharted 2 is an amazing, polished game that comes together for a great gaming experience. I would go so far as to say it is the Avatar of gaming.
