That's a great idea, Common. That would be so much fun.

I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this game a lot more than the first one (no Mako, improved shooting, streamlined equipment). Now I just need to finish the first one.

Indeed it would. I think a lot of people are missing out on how good the combat is in this game. I understand that it's an amazing experience otherwise, but the combat itself is just plain fun. I wouldn't feel out of place saying it's as good as Gears, and if you put that with what else the game gives you, co-op would have had peoples heads exploding.
So much praise. I think Im finally convinced to get this game. But I'll have to get the original ME and play it first then.

Worth it. I'm not really a "gusher" about games, I think I gushed about Oblivion this much but this is the first game since that I've gone gaga over.

I think everyone here knows how often I gush about games. The last full-sized game (non-Portal edition) that I felt this way about was probably... Oh, shit. I don't even know. It's probably Shadow of the Colossus, which just turned four years old. Between that time, I've probably played 200 or more video games.

Excellent decision. Playing through ME1 first isn't required but highly recommended. You'll be amazed at how much of ME1's decisions effect ME2.
Wow, great read. I pre-ordered my game, and cancelled at the last minute so i could save money for now. Ugh, i wish i could play. Sounds so good, from all fronts people are giving ME2 nothing but praise, i'll have to replay my ME1 as soon as im done with Dragon Age.

I differ in that I think a playthrough of ME is almost mandatory before starting ME2. The player will be missing SO MUCH out of the story with its character interaction and dialogue choices that many of the best portions of the game will fall flat.
It's like watching Empire Strikes Back without watching Star Wars. Sure, it's still a decent movie but that backstory is integral to giving a shit about the characters.

I agree with you actually. The reason I didn't say required is because I think ME2 was be a great game on its own. Playing ME1 first however makes it exceptional.
