At a special event in London today, Nintendo (the European publisher) revealed that gamers will be able to download extra content for the game which will be released for Wii in April.

This is good news as not a great deal of Wii games have benefited from downloadable content. You can download new items for Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City for free every now and then, new items were made available for Final Fantasy: My Life As A King and Guitar Hero fans are often able to download new songs but it's fair to say that DLC hasn't really taken off on Wii."

Nice, this is how advertising should be made, now this game should sell fairly well now, at least 300,000 in EU and 650,00 in USA, at least 2 mil for Monster hunter tri I'de say.

Monster Hunter DLC..? That's not as good news. Still, the fact that it has Wii Speak and free online play makes up for it.

Wii Speak support is indeed good news, this is the first time it is confirmed. Until now it was "under review". I wasn't going to buy this game (since it is not my kind of thing), but I am seriously reconsidering this now, hunting in a group with the ability to talk sounds like great fun.

I won't be needing the Wii Speak bundle though since I am already getting Wii Speak with my Endless Ocean pre-order So I'll just get the MH classic controller bundle.

Already got a Wii Speak for approx 5$ at Saturn when I went to Germany.Let's go for the Classic Controller.

Didn't even know the game supported Wii Speak.
