No more Heros won't be on the DS. Because it could'nt handle the graphics and wouldn't work well. Also the fun of the game is the motion controls.

in the beginning of the first game the characters actually TELL "you" that you don't need to know anything from the first game, and that they weren't gonna bore you with retelling that story :D

that's part of what i like about this game, it's not too serious, just fun :)
