I think that's kind of an overreaction. I mean, not everyone gives decent discussion on Day 1, but a lot of people usually do, and the same could be said of a lot of subsequent days. And don't you think the town is punished enough by giving scum a free pass?
It's been a while, so I forget what your current attitude suggests based on past performance -- and your GMing might have altered you anyway.
For hatmoza, I could see him making the same post no matter what the truth was, so it didn't mean much to me.
For Dgc, it didn't send up any red flags at all for me but I'm tired.
For zexen, I don't think I have much to go on.
For WoW, it just occurred to me that he's simply taking a "bad cop" stance in the laudable pursuit of better Day 1 conversation.

Not necessarily. A No Lynch with a lot of discussion and a general agreement it's better for the town is better than picking someone and lynching him in less than an hour. Of course, if we discuss and we think someone might be scum, lynching him will make it better than No Lynch. .
What I'm against is just "No Lynch" as first measure

But really hatmoza, I know a lot of people don't take Day 1 too seriously, but this festival attitude of yours is just too much. Well, I don't know how much sense "festival" makes, but you're taking the joke too far IMO. Serious discussion has started to turn its eye on you and you don't get to just laugh it off ... unless you feel like getting lynched.

Well, you said it in a manner I viewed as jocular, plus it was just about your first post in the thread at the start of the first day when many people are joking around.
Obviously it's not something you're going to say isn't true, but it's not really much in the way of a roleclaim. "I'm pro-town!"
