lol at all the WOW imitators.
I still stand by what I said yesterday. We always complain and suffer for letting lurkers stick around too long. If we are going to lynch anyone today, it might as well be a lurker. I'm not saying that today's back and forths are not going to be useful in the future. Depending on who comes up scum and comparing who they got into arguments day one can somewhat narrow down our choices . But for now (day one) this information is useless, unless someone is stupid enough to slip up like Dgc did a few games back.
I do admit that i do agree with vetteman that WOW's shooting for trust already is kind of weird. She even made it as if she already had control over the game by telling me "contribute or be lynched."
It's funny how she also never gave her two cents about what she personally thought of my role claiming (or whatever it was she quoted me on) after asking so many others.

Vetteman94 said: Hello everyone, Here is one observation I found that was a little interesting. I hate bringing up past games but it can give a little insight into peoples normal habits. Of the few games I have played with WoW, she has always suggested no lynch for the first day. Since it almost always gives the town an extra day to lynch an anti-town member when you have more information available to you. She has even provided a table to prove it, and that reasoning is completely sound, as it does work in the towns favor. So why is she pushing to have a forced lynch on the first day? Why force a blind lynch with little to no information and hoping that someone will slip up on a day one. One thing that never really happens. Not to mention that I am always a little suspicious of people who try and take control of the game early on, which is another thing she is trying to do. FoS: WoW |
It seems to me like WoW is just trying to get people to talk under the guise of a possible lynch.
It is somewhat at odds with WoW's usual methods, I agree, but it is a change of habit that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I guess we'll see how the day goes. We'll have to see who, if anybody, WoW actually goes after to lynch to see to what end this new tactic leads.

So are you saying we should just lynch a Lurker and not talk?

I see.
Yeah, that's a decent reason -- but I think it's pretty funny that you're jumping all over him for jumping all over Dgc, when IMO you both did it with about as little provocation.

We should talk long enough to figure out who the Lurkers are in this game, and then lynch one of them.
