The opening scene was superb and the first battle was a good apperitive.

Yup it starts well.....the battles are extremely easy at the start...

oh & I recommend that you go to settings & make it so that the white hand goes on "abilities" first not "auto battle"

That way you don't have to press down & then select what you wanna do & it makes you feel like your in more control as you choose what you do.

Finally I pressed select to turn the "map" thingy in the top right hand corner off.....funnily enough it reduces the feeling of linearity!

I did it beforehand, I played with the settings before starting a New game xD

It has an enemy compendium, sweet, a shame that it doesn't have info for the enemies, like the one in FFXII, but it's very informative of the enemies weaknesses, so that's a plus :D

I will post a rating as I go along ;)

WOW @ SCENE at the end of Chapter 2 & BEginning of Chapter 3

Several scenes....amazing music too!

I'll give Chapter 2 a 9.0

Moving onto chapter 3 now

I must say each & every character is likeable so far......and I've seen more emotion & interaction between them so far than there was in all of FF12 (lol maybe thats a bit mean).

Finished Chapter 1.

My rating will be of 8.5. The opening video was pretty cool and the chapter had a good pace, kinda reminded me of dream Zanarkand at the start of FFX
