I'm still waiting for an answer as to why you "refused" to pay 5-10$ for the game, but still felt it was good enough to play. It doesn't make sense to me.

again...where can i get it for that cheap?!

My mistake, it must have been a steam sale.  It is currently 19.99$

darn, i wanna get it but i dont want to for 20.00 bucks ....i will never pirate it though!....ill just wait for a sweet deal =p

I think people that admit to piracy or found to be pirates should be banned much like what they do on NeoGAF (one of the few things I actually agree with when it comes to handing out bans on that site).

Anyone that thinks that piracy doesn't hurt the industry is kidding themselves and allowing people to proclaim it on a large forum like this one without any kind of repercussion isn't much better than condoning such behavior.

I think this is the only post of yours I've agreed with in the last two years.

I believe he's trying to create another thread where people pound on him.

In other words, I believe it's a troll thread, no matter whether what he wrote is true or not.

Damned everytime hearing someone talking about being a pirate I have to think about this...

So... everyone should be banned who hurts the industry in some way, or what?

Forum rules are for making communication easier and safer, not for enforcing one side of some propaganda about who we should support with our money.

bah I have the entire Adobe Creative suite on my computer, not saying out loud that I pirated it just saying Im a dirt cheap college student

That's cool but we don't care ;)
Through some people seem to already taken out their paladin of morality helmets :D

I will admit I pirated Dragon Age: Origins for PC, but a large part of that was because I wasn't sure if it would run on my laptop (which it does surprisingly well considering it's a very mid to low range computer).

But I spend probably over a grand on just games per year so I think I deserve to get a free one now and then. Mass Effect 2 I will probably just buy for my 360 since I already own the first one for the console and I'm more used to those controls, plus I'm a bit of a sucker for achievements.

Not a good move if you ever want to be heir to Brett's legacy.

He already is. You just don't know it yet.
