I don't get that of the last guardian, it's like zelda wii and metroid: other M, it could be great, or it could be awful, and it's a new ip

Technically no... they sll hsve different gameplay style's but all of Fumito Ueda's work all take place in same mythos,so ppl whove played ICO or SOTC can still fell Xxcited as if they are getting a new installment to the ICO series especially since TLG was called trico in develop meant which means 3rd ICO..( SOTC was called NICO meaning second ICO)

I get this feeling too, it does seem like it's really trying to be The Last Guardian, the trailer music is even similar.

Just makes me want to play The Last Guardian more. Even if it sells under a million, it will still be as good as anything on Wii or 360 this year.
