Technically no... they sll hsve different gameplay style's but all of Fumito Ueda's work all take place in same mythos it so ppl whove played ICO or SOTC can still fell Xxcited as if they are getting a new installment to the ICO series especially since TLG was called trico in develop meant ehich means 3rd ICO..( SOTC was called NICO meaning second NICO)

I get this feeling too, it does seem like it's really trying to be The Last Guardian, the trailer music is even similar.
