Most recently was last night on Valkyria Chronicles. Chapter 7, trying to do the Dual against Maximillian desert battle with A ranking.

Got to 7 turns perfectly, then Selvaria comes and rapes my entire team because I put them in the wrong trench >_>

Two hours of perfect preparation gone to waste, had to restart the whole mission. In the end, I got the A, but it pissed me off completely

Oooh I remember that mission. Thankfully I make at least 5 different saves for each mission. I tried at least 4 different strategies until I finally got A rank on that mission.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

That's the most recent I can remember.

Which one, Lazarevic or Lieutenant Garza?

Garza on Crushing was a fucking nightmare

To me it wasn't much of a hassle. I think I just died once because the timing for countering is much tighter on Crushing and I wasn't expecting that. Pistole and M4 work wonders on him, and so does the two grenades on top of the crates in there.

I had forgotten how to beat him, so I spent a lot of time trying to figure that out, so I went through a lot of tries where he just ran up to me and gave me his one hit KO >_<

It was the same that I did, but stupidly enough, I forgot to save after the 3rd turn, because I got too confident in myself >_<

It was a pretty awesome mission though, the Batomys was a big ass tank, plus any moment Selvaria appears = WIN xD

@Rainbird

Thankfully I was doing consecutive runs towards platinum. Started with Normal, then Hard and finally Crushing, so I had strategies planned out for pretty much every fight in the game. Otherwise I admit it would have been extremely difficult to pass Crushing. I had that experience with Uncharted: Drake Fortune crushing difficulty >_<

Actually no :P If I could swap the time that I play with the time that I spend studying for exams, I would gladly do it.

Fable 2, I enjoyed the game so much but it finished in like 10 hours with a horrible ending. I also get pissed off with myself because I can't get into Mass Effect (the reason I bought a 360), it's my fault though not the games.

On the other hand The Chronicles of Riddick game was a very pleasant surprise.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Title Defense Bald Bull. Punch Out!!

I haven't screamed myself hoarse in frustration at a game like that in a long, long time.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Magna Carta 2: My characters were insanely leveled up. I'd just finished a tough boss fight (took about 30 minutes) and then sat through another 30 minutes of cinematics before finally gaining control of my character.

No save point in sight.

So while I go look for a save point, this lady is standing out in the open. I stop to talk to her. This triggers an "optional side quest". I have to kill a beast in the forest. None of my attacks do any damage. Plus, this is the only side quest that you aren't able to run away from.

The only way to hurt the creature is by using some poorly explained double team technique. I'm more powerful than the creature, but since my attacks do zero damage, it doesn't matter. It's killing me.

I read the tutorial: technique doesn't work.
I read the manual: technique doesn't work.
I go online for help: technique doesn't work.

Eventually, all of my healing potions run out. The beast kills me. No save point, and maybe two hours of boss fight, cinematics, research, and trying to beat a wimpy ass boss on an "optional" mission makes me lose everything.

AND somehow, I earned 20 achievement points for "learning the dual technique"!!

Lazarevic was a bitch on crushing, took me one and half hour to kick his ass, had to change sensitivity to all the way max and run like a mad man, almost died when I got him too, at least I got a Plat after that I guess. o_O; I have a video on that one too now that I think about it lol.
