Heck, it could of even been the PS3 version that was lacking in graphics. Afterall there have been many of multi-platform games that looked worse on PS3.

Your just making unfounded accusations and claims.

then uncharted 2, killzone 2 are what?

look better than FF13 =(

I don't get your point here... From what i've seen there are better looking 360 games too.  Mass Effect 2 for example looks better (if you ask me.)

True or not True.  Early in this generation, for the first few titles companies put out the 360 version more often then not looked better then the PS3 version as they cut their teeth?

True or not True.  FF13 has been in development since... well before this generation began.  Therefore it started development back when developers were having these problems?

True or not True.  Square Enix has no PS3 games released?

Is it not reasonable to think they would have the same problems pretty much every third party had when it came to the much harder to develop for PS3?

So...How do you explain the downgrade of graphics shown in earlier videos?

and HOW do you explain that the ps3 version looks more clear and sharp without framerate dips?

A) Wait... I thought you said "They look the same".  Now the PS3 version looks more sharp and plays better?

B) I haven't seen any downgrade of graphics shown in earlier videos.

Though you know... such things could of been changed because there was no way to NOT get framerate drops if they didn't change it.

Or for that matter, they needed to lower things like texturing to make all the assets be of the same level that were created.

Or ran out of time.

Plenty of reasons more as well.

A) it's my first post in this thread, i didn't say anything :P but yes, according to IGN, the ps3 version is the best one with no framerate drops and a more clear look, so i don't think that the 360 version was the best looking of both....

B) if you search around a little bit you'll find some comparisons.

They didn't ran out of time, they took a year of development making both versions equal, so it looks like the ps3 version got delayed a year

They said they spent a year working on both graphical engines.

Not exactly the same thing.

Well, playing ME2 on high res on PC pretty much allowed me to notice that while the PC version looks better, they shared a lot of the same assets with the 360 version most likely, I can see a lot of low res textures(even with 16x AF, it's..... an eyesore,) very "clean" surroundings, limited amount of poly counts, if anything, it's just good ol' UE3.x with decent shaders and art directions, and some extra effects on PC at a higher resolution. I'm very much enjoying the game of course, but if you are trying to tell me that ME2 on 360 looks better than UC2 or KZ2, I have to say that's purely a style choice, if you are talking on a technical level, not even close.

I for one believe that FF13 would have looked better if it was PS3 exclusive because it's able to push more polygons and have full HDR, but alas, that's not the case here, it's still pre-ordered of course.

It disturbs me that this is coming from the guy who made the memorable final fantasy VII. I don't know if kitase retains himself, but the guy kind of counters himself with some of the statements he made in this interview to his past statements about final fantasy XIII. Like how he said that work on the xbox 360 version won't happen until the japanese version was completed and a year later at microsoft's e3 2009 they showed off the game (running on the xbox 360 hardware), while at the time development of final fantasy XIII was only 90% complete.

I call bullshit on the last question.

All I know is the game was done for PS3 , and they had to make a lot of changes, including cutting out lots of the game , to keep the whole equality thing for the 360.

This is what I also believe but they aren't just gonna come out and tell us that, it's a conspiracy.

Interesting article.

Honestly, I just want to get my hands on the game and enjoy it. All this press, (negative and positive) hasn't influenced my interest in the title. Regardless of which console I purchase the title for, it should be an awesome experience.

I know i'll go PS3 when i get it.  Just because of how loud the 360 is.  Though my 360 has been strangely quit lately... I'm guessing because I downloaded the game I'm playing to the HD.

That drive must be one noisy Mofo.

About your 360, it's probably gonna die soon.

RROD isn't an "if" it happens scenario, but rather a "when" it happens scenerio.

It might not even be RROD the thing might just die some other way that isn't covered by your extended warranty.

nah,  my 360 has ALWAYS been that noisy.

I was just spoiled having the Wii and PS3 early.

^^ LOL

Now, looking at interview the last part:

Is that the reason why the Japanese language option with European subtitles isn't available within the International version? That's something the fans would really want...
KITASE: It's because of the storage capacity. The Blu-ray disc has already been filled to the max due to the countless CGI-movies, so a version with both Japanese as well as English voices was impossible to realise.

So - wondering how many disc's the 360 version will be, thinking at least 10 or 11 based on that statement...  That xbox case is gonna be a double-wide

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

@seraphic
