I picked up:

- Crackdown (must have at $9.99)
- Jericho
- Alone In The Dark
- Dark Sector

All of them shipped for $35

I played all and I must say...you are a strong willed man if you beat the bolded 3.

1 is a cool concept but repetitive as fuck

1 has some of the best original gaming ideas this gen executed in the worst possible manner and with controls that make it almost unplayable

1 is playable but beyond generic and very uninteresting

I'll let you guess/find out whch one is which. :)

Is that the horror shooter Clive Barker Jericho?

Yes it is.

They made a game where you can control 5 different soldiers and switch between them on the fly. They all have their own power ups...1 can heal, on can slow time...etc. Pretty cool idea and story and set up are not bad...

However its the same battle over and over...big hallway with enemies spawning over and over at the other end until you cross a line.

Basically like most linear games are. (Bioshock, Call of Duty etc)

That's awful and sux.

No, most "liner" games offer a challenge by providing AI which makes it hard for you to kill them. This is fun...when there is a challenge. In Jerecho they just walk down he middle single file.

So are all of these games like, new and factory sealed? It doesn't say otherwise but we are talking about a website that basically specializes in selling cheap OEM stuff. They don't actually say what the product is anywhere. They just say the title and like the product number and give a stock image of the cover art. Anybody know for sure?

Edit: I noticed that all of the games with free shipping say "Limited Replacement Only Return Policy" but the ones with shipping that only costs one or two dollars just have "Software Return Policy". I guess that makes sense for clearance stuff but I don't actually see the word clearance anywhere.

Is Stranglehold fun? I hear that it is very action movie-esque. That's exactly what I'm going for. I like over-the-top shooters (Crackdown being my favorite 360 game and the Wet demo was fun). The singleplayer campaign of Halo 3 and Gears 2 didn't appeal to me much.

Also whats the verdict on Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom? I'd like to try a good hack n slash. I tried the Ninety-Nine Nights demo yesterday and thought it was meh. If Strangehold and Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom have demos, I'll check them out tonight.

From that list, I strongly recommend Crackdown (the demo is on live so you can try it to see if you like it) and I recommend Blue Dragon if you like jrpgs and don't mind that you are basically controlling a bunch of 12 year old kids. Blue Dragon has a good class system.

I also have PGR4 (it was bundled with 12 months live gold, a chatpad and an extra headset) and it's pretty fun. I suck at racing games though. :( Pretty sad finding myself finishing last place in championships in the Pro stages of career on easy difficulty. lol.

Only one I would really recommend is Blue Dragon.

crackdown is a great sandbox!! pgr4 and blue dragon are ok.. the ones I like in that list
