So now that the japanese site for Metroid: Other M is up, the little tidbit that caught my eye was that down in the bottom-right corner, it says "Release Summer 2010". Since Japan tends to get Metroid-games later than the west nowadays, that may mean we'll be getting it during Spring, or Summer just like them. Interesting :D

I wish people would just say Q1 etc instead of a season with stuff like this @_@ so confusing. I don't know when it's summer in Japan or spring wherever you live!

Summer generally means June-August.

well, considering it wasn't an Australian press release, I'm going with Jun-Aug, most likely August as Metroid seems to keep launching then.

I doubt it. This looks like a more Japan centric Metroid than the Prime games, so I'd say Japan will get this one first.

Hopefully it comes fairly soon, It's needs more of a push than metroid prime 3 got though.

For sure this game feels way more japanese than the Prime series... you can say by just looking the art for samus ... i think that looks way better in those images in this anime-like style than in the ending from the prime series 

I'm still shocked that they seem to be so much further ahead on this than Galaxy 2, when the exact opposite seemed true at E3

Galaxy 2 looked to me like it was partly a contingency plan for if NSMB exploded in their faces. Now that it has turned out to be a phenomenal success, there's no urgency to get another Mario game out.
