Forums - PC - Really cool PC business management sim game (browser based)

I have been getting addicted to this lately:

Virtonomics.com

Its a business MMO in the vein of Capitalism for PC many years ago. You can run and manage a host of businesses around the world. You compete with and against other businesses to grow and become mega businesses. Its a lot of fun if your a fan of the tycoon-style simulation games.

If you were a fan of Capitalism, you will really like this game. Its kind of rough around the edges, but for the most part its a lot of fun.

My corporations name is Tri Star Venture Capital on both servers. If you get started, send me a message so we can work together.

Neat, not really up for a business sim game right now.

I remember many a day playing Aerobiz Supersonic as a kid... what the hell was wrong with me.

Kids in gradeschool should not being playing games about being an Airline CEO.

Or course... before that I was playing Civ Life... setting things like DNA Mutation variance, gestation, average liter size etc...

I was a peculiar kid.

what's up with your URL?

I'm going to take a look at it

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Capitalism was a cool game. I'll have a look at this.

I thought the first Aerobiz was better.

You could buy stocks of the other airlines and resell to do a bit of cash, or you could just buy them like this.

If I recall this was not in the second one :x

(rented the first a few times and then bought the supersonic one)

Yeah, it was tough for me.

I missed the stocks in the first game, but everything seemed to just work better in the second game.

Had the same, yet opposite problem with PTO.  One version on the SNES I liked better, but the other had an addicting card game where you argued for what objectives to set and it was just really fun... but the subs were annoying cause they'd aways need to refuel and were a pain to micromanage... and it just wasn't fun anymore not having them in fleets.

Yes, its free.

FYI, the difficulty of the game is kinda brutal at the beginning. There is a major issue with production efficency that causes the game to be radically more difficult than it should be near the beginning of the game.
