sorry but i have a netbook (overclocked from 1.6 to 2ghz) and it can't even play youtube videos at full screen (i dont even mention for HD) so please... im not supporting the ipad but what it does it does it PERFECTLY! amazingly smooth animations and transitions super smooth video playback smooth gaming and all. who cares if something is running an os that is not even made with touchscreens in mind not to mention the programs.. (speaking of touchscreens we all know how amazing the apple screens are).

i'm not really impressed by them either, especially with the ipad. It obviously doesn't change the way we play games. I've played 3D games before and it's ok but it's not that big of a deal.

I'm not sure Iwata should be saying things like this though even if it is true.

Are you serious? You need to send in your netbook to get fixed. Because they pretty much all can play full screen Youtube videos without a hitch. And what  type are you using? the only netbooks I know that can be overclocked are the MSI U100 Wind and the Asus Eee701(which is underclocked) neither clock to 2.0 ghz the MSI clock at 2.4 Ghz there may be a few others you can overclocked(the beauty of windows is choice) so I cant outright know which model you use but Both of those play full screen Youtube videos...Unless you meant 1080P well then the newer ones do and the older models are hit or miss but the iPad has only been guaranteed to 720P...However Tegra2 does 1080P and the A4 si riff of that so most likely it should be able to do 1080P.

3D will be a hit when it can be seen with raw eye.

No glasses, it's just straight from the TV.

and also.. about android just look at youtube.. they cant even scroll a page correctly... the animations are SO jerky my god my eyes! so just give me a break.. in gaming everyone is having problems with framerates and tear screenings but on your phones and laptops you dont mind if the os is terrible and it cant even move a thing.. if my device is not responsive i dont even care no matter what os it is running.. no crappy general tablet manufacturer can beat the apple products because apple makes both hardware and software its hardware specific so they do amazing things. it's all about how it feels..

i have an msi wind and i tried everything! is SLOW not only mine but my friends too. i also tried leopard on it (ihave it dualboot) its a perfect hackintosh (i only changed the wifi card inside). believe me its CRAP! i know about computers it doesnt have a problem.. accept it :)

The iPad can't even multitask. One program at a time. Kills an already mediocre product for me.

Hmm I have had 2 android phones...The G1 and the Nexus One. If you think the animations are jerky you need  to look at the phones in person. Personally I think the checkerboarding on the Palm Pre and iPhone is annoying but each phone has its limitations Its all abotu preference but personalally I find apple products pricey and limiting and they are slower then the competition. 

PS they don't make there own hardware. There stuff is designed by FROG, and manufactured by Foxxcon and Asus. The chip they make now the A4 is designed by PA semiconductor and is a ARM deriviate System on a chip that appears to be less advanced then teh new snapdragon and tegra2 chipsets I am not even talking about TI's OMAPS.
