Go get NMH2: DS, a Wii, some component cables, and experience gaming bliss.

I think the Wii's successor will not be coming for awhile. You can get it now or wait after E3. You never know what could be revealed there, possibly the "Black Wii". That's only if you want a Black one that bad and continue to wait to see if it is true.

I just want to play Nintendo 1st party games, probably TVC and catch up on some Gamecube games.

Last month Wii sold more consoles in America than any console ever has before, by a really really big margin. It's not being replaced any time soon.

It's border stupidity that anyone expect a new hardware anytime soon when it is outselling its competitor by an XL margin.

As for waiting for a black Wii, I wouldn't bother unless you're uptight about decoration and everything has to match the furniture and such.

ok, let's count how many PS3 and X360 systems have been created in the same timeframe - over 12 and I lost count as I can't remember them all
