Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What to get on Wiiware, where should it go?

I am looking to download a few wiiware games, about 8-10 of them. I am wondering which one you guys would recommend, you can look at my current wiiware collection, I am interested in the Bit.Trip and Art Style games, because it seems like people have nothing but positive things to say about them... Any recommendations.

megaman 9
Lost Winds 1 & 2
World of Goo

These are the best of the best on wii ware.

MegaMan 9, Castlevania ReBirth... btw, where the hell is Cave Story?

Why not check out the free demos? I loved Bit Trip Beat so much I'm planning to buy it. FF: My Life as a Darklord is decent too, though not quite my thing. I've heard good things about NyxQuest and it's on there too.

If you have any interest in point and click adventures, you could check out the Homestarrunner games. I got the first episode and it's good though I'm not enough a fan of the genre to pick up multiple games. I'm also not sure if non Homestar fans will really enjoy the sense of humour.

Toki Tori
LIT (although it gets little tired coming towards the end)
TV Show King (fun party quiz game)
Monkey Island series (point n click adventures)
Water Warfare

I'd recommend all the titles mentioned plus Eduardo The Samurai Toaster and Phoenix Wright

Warrior of Light #66

"I'm not illiterate, my parents were married!"

3DS FC: 2878 9589 2016

I recommend all of the Bit.Trip games. They are fantastic. Definitely my favorite WiiWare series. As for Art Style, Orbient is pretty good, and Cubello is really good. Rotohex is too annoying and hard to be considered fun.

nyxquest is very good i'd recommend the demo, Flowerworks is supposed to be good if you're in USA.

Flowerworks is Shams' game, so you'd be supporting a dev that comes here :p

Oh yeah, before I forget The Magic Obliesk was great too. Really nice visuals and fun puzzles... though the AI can get wonky.

Space Invaders: Get Even, FFCC My Life as a King and FFCC My Life as a Darklord are all addictive and well done, but beware that you'll have to pay out extra for the "full" games. :/

My favorite of the ArtStyle games was probably Cubello. Really though, all the WiiWare ArtStyle games pale in comparison to the DSiWare entries (PiCTOBiTS and boxlife particularly). If you really want a "traditional" WiiWare puzzler, go for something safer like Tetris Party or Mr. Driller W.
