Ok, lets check some games and genres on Ps3:

Action/adventure: Uncharted,Assassin's Creed,Infamous,Mgs4 etc.

FPS:Killzone2,Call of duty,Resistance,Bioshock,Battlefield etc.

Platformers:Trine,LittleBigPlanet,Ratchet and Clank,Braid etc.

Racing:Burnout,GT5P,Motorstorm,Wipeout etc.

Sports:Ea games etc.

RPG:Demon's Souls (its more Rpg than Jprg),Dragon Age, Oblivion,Fallout 3,VC etc.

Fighting games:Tekken6,SV4,SC4 etc.

JPRG:Eternal Sonata,Wck coming.

Now, as you can see Ps3 has no succesful Jprg:s (Vc is more Strategy/RPG than Jprg).So if person haven't bought Ps3 for games above, its because there haven't been Jprg:s on Ps3.So when Final Fantasy XIII comes, and if its any good, people will have all games they can dream on Ps3.Nothing is missing.

But what I find interesting, is Japan. It has had those Jprg:s they so much want, and series like Res,Mgs and Yakuza but still haven't managed to dominate in Japan.

GT5 might also be most important title for this year, since those racing games haven't been that great for some racing fans.

I think WKC: IE fills that slot for a AAA JRPG for PS3... know' there are many that might disagree with that statement however i stand by it, since its a Level-5 plus SCEJ effort.

There aren't many etc's of quality for platformer titles either. The platforming genre needs a Jak attack.

Actually I think until recently all genres other than action, shooter and sports have been getting the shaft, when it comes to best quality titles available on PS3.

GT 5 is by far the PSs most important title in terms of hardware and software sales

Gran Turismo 5 and God of War 3 are more important PS3 titles in 2010. BOTH OF THOSE GAMES ARE PS3 EXCLUSIVE TITLES. Those two PS3 exclusives will push the sales of PS3 consoles through the roof in 2010.

Final Fantasy XIII is the most important multi-platform game on PS3 in 2010. If FFXIII remained a PS3 exclusive title it would be more important probably only second to Gran Turismo 5.

Gran Turismo fans most likely bought Ps3 when GT5P launched (not all of course).God of war fans most likely bought Ps3 for other same type games+gow collection.

i'm a ff fan but even i think saying ffxiii is the most important game for the ps3 this year is short sighted. it's too good of a lineup in all genres and we are still waiting for e3.

so, no. in my opinion ffxiii is not the most important title for the ps3 this year.
