Forums - Sony Discussion - I FINALLY got Kingdom Hearts 1! (any tips & Advice before I START?)

Yes I am a Final Fantasy fan & a square-enix fan.

Despite this I NEVER got a kingdom hearts game, ever.

But that changed today as I finally got it after soriku threatened to murder me if I didn't

lol the real reason is exams ended today so had to get games, KH1 & DQ8 were to be the ones, the stupid games shop didn't have DQ8 though, luckily KH1 was there stuffed in some random corner next to old PS1 games!!!

So I'm ready to GO!

 

Any advice or is the game too easy?

PLEASE NO SPOILERS!

one advise: enjoy it as much as possible. the opening of KH1 is one of the most awesome i've ever seen... and the music!

Watch the intro and turn it off. Sorry, but the game......just don't get your hopes too high.

okay, from the fifth to the fifteenth minute, its mostly a tutorial, but as for me, its even fun when they talk nonsense. :P

and after 30 minutes, it makes BOOM!. i was blown away when i played it X Years ago. (okay, i was .. 13-14 years old back then, but i think it wouldnt change if i started it the first time now, with 20 years)

hmm. i wouldnt say that, because theres nothing more epic than Advent Children Chars. :3.. and its much more serious and less childish as 1 is.

Enjoy the game Darth ;) It's one of the best JRPG's made, but KH2 tops it.

The game starts pretty slow, but after some cataclysmic events, the action really picks up. Also, the game itself is pretty easy, if you're looking for more of a challenge play it on extreme.

Also, once you get to the battle arena-type of miniquests, leave the Platinum and Gold Cup to the very last, trust me, you'll get your arse kicked on the Platinum Cup :P
