I've been really sick of MW2 and COD in generally for a while now. The franchise just really feels boring now and the online is more frustration than anything(maybe I just suck now since I stopped playing, but even when I play good it's not all that fun). I was looking forward to moving on to other franchises like MAG or Bad Company or possibly KZ3 for the future and leaving Modern Warfare alone. But now for some reason I am really looking forward to COD: Vietnam. I hope Treyarch makes it really brutal and doesn't follow the path of MW2 and does their own thing. Anyone else looking forward to the next COD: Vietnam game even though they are burnt out on Call of Duty/Modern Warfare?

Why would it not be fun? I understand they may not have a lot of the architecture that many FPS games really rely on but I'd think the jungle environment would be pretty fun. Somewhat similar to a few parts of the Japanese maps in COD:WaW. Maybe a level or two with a big area covered by those merchant boats they have. And though most of the depicted warfare of Vietnam was in the jungle they do have cities that could easily be used for great maps.

Getting tired of it, but looking forward to Battlefield: BC 2, it will be awesome!

This... Zombie mode is the most fun i've had playing a FPS game.  Hope the next one will have it as well.

I have played every COD game, starting way back on the PC.

Yes, I am getting a bit tired of the whole thing.

I will most likely still pick up Vietnam, but the whole "can't wait 'til the next release" thing is dead to me.
