Well sandbox refers to open free roaming style of game. There have been quite a lot of good open world games released this generation. Anyway which game would you consider to be the best game so far. If Other please state the game and why in the thread.

Well as long as Red Faction: Guerrilla in a way counts as a sandbox title (more or less 3rd person action adventure but of course open world), then that is my favorite one so far.

GTA 4 easily.

Inb4 Crysis (which isn't even sandbox).

its close to it. you can virtually run around the entire island killing people and ignore wtf your supposed to be doing.
