Oh the love I have for Perfect Dark. Being able to board Air Force One than killing the president seemed so badass. Plus all the blood was awesome at the time. I truly think that game was a head of its time (mostly cause N64 couldn't handle the awesomeness at times).

P.S. I didn't play any of the other games on there. Yes, I didn't play the Sims.

Perfect Dark and Majora's Mask should have been higher.

Shenmue could be considered a 1999 release because it was released at the end of the year in Japan.

I thought IGN said they were just listing the top ten games every year and then we vote for the overall best games of the decade? I don't think they were putting the games in order of worst to best, but maybe I read the article wrong.

Pokemon Gold/Silver, Grandia 2, & Skies of Arcadia should be on the list.

Hrm, not bad. There are two games I don't like (Blizzard > Bioware!) and I'd prefer other games up on there, but this is the first list I've seen of IGN's that I don't think is complete junk.

I'm glad they give the PC so much recognition here. Counter-Strike at #1, well deserved.

There's 2 RPGs on the list, not counting RPG hybrids like Dues EX.  Frankly, games like Diablo II should have been higher.

And at the risk of being lynched by the Majora's Mask fans, I'd venture to say many other games should have been on the list instead of Majora's Mask.

Then lynched you shall be.

Majora's Mask was my number one game for the VGC best game of all-time vote.
