Sony is known to have the most rigorous screening process so I doubt Arc will be "flooded" there will be a lot of family titles though.

Gimicky peripherals get gimicky games. Playing with motion controllers just dont feel right.
It's the uncanny valley all over again. In Wii Sports, to hit a baseball you just flick the controller. Gimicky.
Now if it accurately maps my swing path and batspeed and figures that into the batted ball velocity, you have epicness.
So until we have true 1:1 motion (and no Motion Plus is not good enough) any motion controller would feel gimicky; and thus more gimicky games than games that make good use of motion control will be released.
Case and point, Super Mario Galaxy and the spinning jump you trigger by wagging the wiimote. Complete gimick, there's zero reason why they couldn't have mapped that to a button.

doesn't matter how rigorous they make it, look at the successful downmarket titles, you won't find many that were not published by Nintendo
