Forums - PC Discussion - Machinarium is BRILLIANT.

I would also like to say that I saw some pictures and read a review of The Whispered World. It seems to follow in very much the same vein as Machinarium; small developer, small budget, hand drawn adventure game with lonely and crazy characters. It'll be my next purchase if it ever comes out on steam. Release date: 14th of February.

Yea I was looking for a demo but there is none (in English at least). In fact I was looking all over for this game until I remembered okr said the English version would be released spring. Guess we'll have to wait.

This game is definitely on my list to pick up when I get more time. I love the art style.

Yes! It's was one of my intentions!

Few people on this forum cares about PC titles, and indie PC titles garner even less interest :(

I just noticed, while going through my steam folder, that all Machinarium files are named with only 1's and 0's.

For instance, there are 4 folders, named 00, 01, 10 and 11.
and all the filenames are 11 0's and 1's. Even the filetype is 1's and 0's.
Except for the exe file of course.

That is just awesome!

Yea, I figured the thread wouldn't be too popular....sad reality really

Yuh know, I noticed the folders with the binary numbers etc but I didn't realize the intention

And there I was thinking that it maybe showed the inexperience (on a programming level) of the devs for naming it like that.

Shame on me!
