I loved the controls, they were very smooth. Not floaty, but not fucking floaty heavy like Killzone 2. The guns should recoil like a mofo, and you need to pick guns that recoil less and use attachments if you still have a problem (I thought the M60 was too over powering). I thought it was the opposite, the mortality was high in this game, at least compared to BC1 and KZ2. As for multiple tanks, if your team didn't manage to reduce the enemy tank level to 1 by the 4th stage, then you guys fucking sucked anyway. As for spawn issues, DICE is constantly working on it, taking the advice from the BETA and adding some obstacles to prevent the tanks from spawn camping. Until the final stand though, I think that the game was very balanced. It was simply idiotic players that ruin the game. Players that congregate in the same exact spot. Players not covering the flanks. Players letting enemies go through. The game will have a lot of idiots, but they'll be weeded out quickly. |
I got into the game at the end, but regardless that's just a bad game that allows such stupid camping. A good game should always allow players to believe they are still in it, and even not they shouldn't be infinitely spawn killed. Will the final game be as bad? Hell No. That's obvious from the mountain of approvals you listed, but that huge list of improvements just goes to show what a POS the beta was imo. But hey, that's what betas are for.
I'm eager to retry the upcoming beta that will be released. And if the issues are fixed it will probably become a 1st day buy for me. But thinking that it will topple MW2 is just crazy. It's not as excessible or noob friendly which is exactly how games like Halo and Cod: MW became so popular, by being super noob friendly and having crazy aim assists.
