Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Edge interview: Halo: Reach – Being Definitive

Wow, this ended well...

OT: Well, I always found Halo: CE to the best one (It was the only one I truly liked, Halo 2 wasn't that great, and Halo 3 has great community features, but I don't see the mind-blowing thing about the whole game. Halo 3: ODST's SP and Firefight were pretty cool, but still nowhere near the same amount of fun I had from the first game). So could this one really beat it? We will find out in the Fall, I guess.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Sounds cool, didnt like the Halo 3 single player but enjoyed the online and this does look cool so far

Why did this thread turn into a Forza/GT trollfest? If you are going to troll a game atleast make it one which is remotely relevant to the thread!

My current Soul Silver Team:

How about the trolls in this thread stop trying to derail it by talking about Forza and GT.

OT: I'm so happy to hear this. The one thing that makes Halo single player unique and fun every time is that they leave the levels wide open and let you tackle the enemies however you see fit. I would have hated if they turned Halo into another tunnel shooter like MW2 that plays the same way every time.

The definitive evidence that video games turn people into mass murderers

Sounds like they know what they are doing. Day one for me :)

I LOVE ICELAND!

This is the reason why Halo 3 is one of the best experiences you can have if you're into that sort of thing. This game is even better and I won't hesitate to say that when this game releases it will be the best implemented shooter released this generation, it will be definitive even if you like a different game style. It does what it tries to do extremely well and others will have to look up to them, just as the more arcadey fast paced shooters look up to Call of Duty.

6 to 8 to 11 to 13 million is my prediction for Halo: Reach sales relative to the rest of the series.

Do you know what its like to live on the far side of Uranus?
