Poll: Which team wins Super Bowl XLIV?

Indianapolis Colts 29 40.28%

New Orleans Saints 43 59.72%

Total:72

The Colts are going to win you can't go wrong with Payton Manning who will go down as the best quarterback of all time in the NFL. Let's face it Pierre Garcon would be a third option receiver on most teams and he turned him into a up and coming star in the AFC title game on top of that Austin Collie also had a big role and he would be a practice squad player on most teams or only play on special teams.

Did you read the second part of my post?

Secondly you TD legacy argument is wrong. Go check what the Spurs did in 2003 with their line-up. TD showed that he's the better leader right after he won the NBA finals that year. This pretty much established who the better player was and will be.This is coming from a die hard Minnesota Timberwolves.

-You can only imagine how many times this argument has been brought up for us.

Who holdest the NFL Single game rushing record again?

A.P can take it to the defense way better than C.J. Peterson is a defensive magnet. After all the hits Peterson gets, he's more likely to fumble than CJ. CJ, however, has better ball security.

Who cares about the single game rushing record? That's him proving himself for one game. Jerome Harrison got within 10 yards of beating it this year, and he's a nobody. In fact of the three RBs with the top single game rushing records, none of them are among the greatest RBs of all time. It's a flukey record that anyone under just the right conditions for one day can achieve.

I want to see some proof of Peterson being a defensive magnet as opposed to CJ. Peterson had his chance when he was the lone offensive dynamo on the team and amassed about 1700 yards. This year when Favre took over and balanced the offense which would cause defenses to lighten the box on AP to accommodate extra coverage for the receivers, Peterson's production goes way down. CJ this year had to go through a QB switch, and a bundle of unproven receivers, and he became the sixth RB ever to hit 2000 yards and broke the single season record for most yards from scrimmage. You think CJ doesn't get 8 in the box with performances like that? I assure you he does, as no one is scared of Vince Young and Kerry Collins.

They do make statistics for most yards after initial hits, and how often the box is stacked against a RB, so if you really feel these are Adrian Peterson's high points, then find me the stats showing he does better than CJ in these regards.

The difference being that Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan played in different eras. Had they played at the same time, there would have been no confusion. One would have been thought of as better than the other. We're talking about two guys playing at the same time under the same teams and conditions. You're essentially talking about comparing Jim Brown to Emmitt Smith. Chris Johnson is simply better than All Day until it's proven otherwise.

Wilt and Kobe can't really be compared outside of statistics. They play two different positions. You see what I did there?

Secondly, statistics don't always make the case.

Round 2:

Kobe and LeBron make the perfect case.

-Kobe is better than LeBron anyday of the week. Why? You want him to make the last play.

Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan also make a good case.

-KG for most of his career has been the better guy statistically. But TD is recognized by everyone as the better player.

If I want to have a team that will go far in the playoffs then Tim Duncan is a lot better then KG.  Tim Duncan is good during the regular season but he is great once the playoffs start.

None of that has anything to do with AP and Chris Johnson...
