The Colts defense is good but not good enough to contain the Saints offense. Meanwhile, the Saints defense is good enough to at least partially contain Manning. You're going to see a lot of scoring but the Saints will be leading the board at the start, middle, and end.

And the Vikings will be in the same place next year as the Ravens and Jets are in this year--with a good defense paired with a crappy offense. Meanwhile the Packers will have well-rounded team capable of putting points on the board (unlike the Vikings).

Not necessarily.

-The Vikings won 10 games prior to Favre's arrival.

-Vikings were third for total offense in 2008. 5th in rushing, and 6th in passing.

-With the addition of Percy, our offense is going to improve.

-Jackson must have learned a bit from Favre's arrival I would assume.

We may not be in the NFC championship game, but we aren't going to be as bad as you make us appear.

I think the Colts are going to win.

If you saw how poorly the Saints played in the 2nd half against Minnesota then you would probably agree with me Colts will win. Peyton Manning will be on his A game.

I do believe the Jets had the best defense in the NFL,  and we all see how that game turned out

Colts will win, but i have to say the decline of Football has now begun. whatever happened to "Defense wins championships"?. all these new penalties are being created to protect the quaterback, pass interference is called on the slightest touch by the defensive back. This has certainly become a passing league. defense is non-existent in today's game.

Protecting the QB is not a bad thing, especially with late hits and below the knee hits can put a QB out, sometimes never coming back.

I cant really disagree with you about the pass interference calls but the good cornerbacks dont seem to have a problem with the new rules.  They can still shut down a receiver.

Colts and it won't even be close. If you had watched the Saints nearly get beat by the Vikes despite the Vikings friggin' exploding, you'd be riding the Manning wagon all the way to Miami too.

I agree with you, Onyx.

The Saints barely won that game with 5 turnovers. I just don't see the Saints getting that many from the best QB in the league in his second superbowl game.

Manning will pick apart the Saints. Say what you will, but Indy had a better time running the ball against the Jets than Saints did, so the argument against Indy being one-dimensional is just as valid.

31-14 and we'll see Indy up two TDs before the half.

I'd actually expect the Saints to be up at the half... then Indy be up by like 14-17 at the end of the game.

I want the Colts to win, but would be less upset if they lost to the Saints, rather than the Vikings, eww.

I'm a Packers fan at heart. What Favre did to that organization was brutal, and I'm glad he got what he did last night. Saints really made him go back to that "force the pass Favre" I've gotten to know the last several years.

Besides, the Colts actually shut down the Jets running game last night, and had a better running game than them. The only obvious flaw their defense had in that game last night was that Cornerback Lacey. Manning's weapons are A+ too. Reggie Wayne was not thrown to as much because of Derrell Reivas, but he will show up at the Super Bowl.

Me, i'd rather have the Saints win. It'd be a better story... and I have no rooting interest in either team, would mean a lot more to the fanbase...

etc.

Colts scoring 30 points against the Saints wouldn't be entirely unexpected.
